Mayor Chris Coleman will present his proposed 2009 budget for the City of Saint Paul on Tuesday, August 12
at the Council Chambers in City Hall from noon-1:30. Members are encouraged to attend. The Mayor will share his budget message with our executive committee later this month.


Since March 2008, your Chamber has been working with government partners to address the loss of parking along the proposed Central Corridor route.
We take this issue very seriously and are working to craft practical solutions for University Avenue businesses. To read more about the Chamber’s efforts, click here. 


The Chamber will participate in Monday’s ground breaking ceremony for the new Trader Joe’s in Saint Paul. 
A number of public and private entities, including your Chamber, worked very hard to make this project a reality. Come join Board member Bill Foussard, Mayor Chris Coleman and Council Member Pat Harris to celebrate this milestone at the store’s future location of Lexington Parkway and Randolph Avenue. 


Terry Furlong, Furlong Liquors, has been appointed to fill the North St. Paul City Council seat
vacated by new Mayor Mike Kuehn. The seat will be up for election this fall to fill out the remaining two years of the term.


The Ramsey County Elections Department is looking election judges

The Maplewood City Council will host a public hearing on dynamic display signs
Monday, August 11 at 7 p.m. at City Hall. The hearing address the language revisions on both off-site (billboards) and on-site signs.

Members of the Roseville Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee and City staff invite the community to a Roseville Comprehensive Plan Open House on August 27 from 5:3 -7:30 p.m. at City Hall. 

Get a firsthand look at Roseville’s proposed Comprehensive Plan, including goals and policies on land use, housing and neighborhoods, transportation, environmental protection, utilities, and economic development.
